Crypt of Sloth 0.1



Remember people, this is a very early prototype! Most characters have very few verbs defined yet. There are no pictures, most don't even have a look at text written yet. But, I have placed them so as to give you guys a preview of what's to come. Some mechanics are in place but not activated yet.


First version includes:

  • Starting questionaire that will affect some of the people and conversations you can have in the game. It will also effect Joseph's starting state to a degree.
  • The map, it is mostly there and laid out. Some parts are blocked from your view for now though.
  • Meet the Lanky Man, and his pal the Burly Man.
  • Sophie is back, and your answer to the question about her in the beginning will decide which Sophie you get to see again.
  • Answer truthfully: did you play my last game? Saying no to this question does nothing bad, but let's you skip straight to the beginning of the game, no extra questions asked.
  • Did you live with Christian and Sarah in the last game? If you did they may greet you back by upgrading your room.
  • Did that girl go boom? You know the one that kept getting stuck. Answer truthfully now. You may end up seeing her again.
  • Sarah has a new bakery.
  • There' a tavern and a burlesque club for those who want to get their drink on.
  • The freakshow - get your kicks, for a prize.
  • Daisy and Violet - the conjoined twins. Both with eating disorders, on different sides of the scale.
  • The Regurgitator - not quite as gross as you may think.
  • Yogi - that woman sure can stretch.
  • The Minute Maiden - for those who like their fun bite-sized.
  • The Fat Woman - Beacuse my games don't have enough of those.
  • The Strongwoman - Someone needs to get the fat woman up if she was to fall.
  • The Ringmaster - Monsieur Monstre.
  • A hooded figure in the mist.

so question found this by chance how will the content work? is it bad end reload style or do they overlap such as becoming a fattend up werewolf with a gas and lactation problem but still able to continue until a fail state?

Hey there, I would suggest trying out my other game in the series that just got it's full release today(!). That should give you some sort of idea what to expect. I tend to try and end each character's storyline off in some definite way that doesn't leave a person hanging. The NPCs are the ones gaining, you as the protagonist fascilitates the gain/expansion/insert fetish here.
