All in a day's work.


What new things have been added today:

  • Finished getting the code for a new store/shopping system working. One where you can pick what you'd like and pay only once. It is still not perfect, but getting there. I imagine I will be using this system for bigger stores like supermarkets, and my old system for little convenience stores and the like where the owner's  personality should be more on display.
  • The inventory system seen in Land of Plenty and Hubris of Man has been implemented, meaning no scrolling through hundreds of bought items  to find the one you want.
  • New ideas on how to feed the main character has been implemented, as has a full weight gain and fullness system. Use mirrors in the game to check how the main character is currently looking and feeling. This is quite basic thus far, but working and ready to be expanded upon.
  • Gotten half the rooms and people you'll meet on the ferry fleshed out and written with unique dialogue, descriptions and character traits.
  • Got an idea for the ferry's on board buffet and lounge ready to be coded into the game.
  • Added a few little sneaky secrets as always.



What do I need from you guys?

Now that most of the systems I had planned have been added to the game, it is time for you guys to send me any ideas, small or big you may want to see implemented into the final game. I will not, and can not, guarantee they will all be added to my workflow. I would however still love to hear from you guys. Sound off in the comments on itch or on m discord to throw some ideas my way!


I am really enjoying working on this one people. Hope my mood keeps staying at these levels for the foreseeable future.
