Joseph Earnwile and the Hubris of Man.

Welcome to the world of Joseph Earnwile.

The plot:

Joseph gets word about what is going on in Germany, and is curious to see what Berlin may have to offer him. He makes his way into the country as part of a diplomatic party heading to Berlin, but quickly break free from the constraints of their tightly packed calenders. 

It is 1942, and the streets are boiling after Hitler's  new order to kill anyone disabled and unable to work. There are soldiers on every corner, Posters proclaiming racial purity as a norm to be upheld and the women on the streets seem afraid of the new policies of Lebensborn and. There's even talks of women being sent to state sanctioned brothels, where heinous acts are performed under the watchfull eyes of the SS.

Ideas:

• Tongue in cheek WW2 theme, be ready to make fun of Hitler and all his odd ideas.
• Mid WW2 Germany.
• Broodmares, fat women making soldiers - prostitution.
• Die Vaterland - a BDSM dungeon ruled over by Inga.
• Female brownshirts, being prepared for motherhood (Helga, Hannah, Ella).
• Fertility researcher (Dr. Braun)
• The Fanta factory - human experimentation on sugar levels and carbondioxide levels.
• Joseph stumbles upon drawings of an atom bomb. Must get out of Germany, and hand them over to the Americans.
• The Ring of Hubris - makes anyone wearing it blind with delusional pretension.

Just so it is out of the way: 

This is a text-adventure game that uses AI art and soundeffects to spice things up just that little bit. I have tried to get the UI down to a level where most people with a more modern sensibility would still enjoy it. I feel like the simplicity of this game genre is supremely well-suited to the exploration and storytelling experiences I want to share with my audience. Making you want to see, interact with and touch  everything just to see what may happen is one of the things I take pride in with my work. The genre also lets me tell the stories I want to tell without having the raw machinepower to do 3D renders and polygonal three dimensional worlds. I hope you guys will give it a try, and if you decide this game may not be for you, then maybe I'll see you again at a later time when I get to another project up and running.
